The fine folks at One Loudoun have unveiled their latest plans for expanding the popular lifestyle center in Ashburn — and with it comes word that they have inked a deal to bring the high-end home furnishings store Arhaus to the center.
The expansion will extend Exchange Street to the north towards Route 7 and will add at least seven new buildings if the plans proceed as laid out here.
Arhaus will reportedly be taking a two-level corner spot with nearly 20,000 s.f. of space. It also mentions a 4,000+ s.f. terrace at Arhaus.
The spot is next to the Tru by Hilton hotel that opened at One Loudoun in 2022.
According to the plan, there is also room for another 19 retail shops and restaurants — although the spaces could change shape and size as they start finding tenants.
One of the buildings will apparently sit on an island in the median with the road wrapping around both sides.
There are also additional new green spaces plus two areas marked “covered court” and “indoor court” — their exact purpose is unclear.
No word yet on when construction crews will break ground on the new section at One Loudoun, but the fact that they have signed a major tenant like Arhaus indicates they will be moving forward soon.
We’ve got messages into the center’s management for more details.
