It was just a few weeks ago that we told readers how the new Dig restaurant in Ashburn was aiming for a September opening. Now mark you calendars — because we have the official date.
Dig will open the new One Loudoun location on Friday, September 6.
The restaurant — part of a fast growing east coast chain — has moved into a spot by the Trader Joe’s grocery store. It’s the space that used to be home to Zoe’s Kitchen.
Dig has more than 30 locations between Boston and DC, with most concentrated in the NYC area.
Locally, there are outposts of Dig in Georgetown and Bethesda. And now Ashburn.
The menu at Dig is seasonal. Currently, they are offering items like crispy chicken sandwiches as well as crispy tofu sandwiches and a Backyard BBQ Chicken plate.
