It appears that it’s out with one Indian restaurant and in with a new one at the Lansdowne Town Center north of Route 7.
That’s where the Bhai Sahab Indian Restaurant has apparently closed and — in its place — a new restaurant called Bombay Tandoor Bar & Grille is in the works.
A “coming soon” banner for Bombay Tandoor already hangs over the door and it looks like some remodeling work is underway inside.
Bombay Tandoor already has a location over in Vienna, so this new outlet will be the second restaurant under that name.
If you’re not familiar, a “tandoor” is a clay oven commonly used in northern India and Pakistan.
The menu at Bombay Tandoor features Aloo Tikki potato patties; vegetarian options such as Baigan Bharta, which is eggplant, tomatoes, and onions; and a Tandoor Mixed Grille, with chicken, lamb, and shrimp — plus many more dishes.
The Vienna location also has a full bar along with beer and wine. You can see the food menu for the Vienna location below.
