Community Church will celebrate 42 years of spreading hope with a special service, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony and rolling tours of the entire campus. Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin will be in attendance.
On Saturday, September 21, and Sunday, September 22, Community Church & Virginia Academy — located at 19790 Ashburn Road in Ashburn — will open their doors wide for Loudoun residents to explore the completion of their 60,000 s.f. expansion.
The work includes a full remodel of the entire building, including brand new kids’ spaces.
The newly designed kids spaces are purposefully outfitted with bright designs, age appropriate games, and versatile equipment and amenities for elementary students.
The expansion also includes an NCAA regulation size gymnasium, an art studio, and two fully outfitted science labs.
This marks the first phase of a master site-wide project that will include public sports facilities, meeting spaces, and community outreach opportunities.
Friends and neighbors are invited to tour this new facility, which serves as a bright light for the entire DMV community.
This project exists to spread hope, as positive life-change is a common experience for Community Church members.
As a Loudoun County resident, Community Church member, and parent of a Virginia Academy student — Cory Fisher has felt this firsthand. “Experiencing all that Community Church has to offer feels like freedom.”
His wife, Michele Fisher, agrees. “This is a place where I entrust my family to be a part of,” she said.
The Grand Opening services at Community Church will take place on Saturday, September 21 at 5:30 p.m., and on Sunday, September 22 at 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
