Shoes Cup & Cork in Leesburg reopens as an “American Brasserie”

The popular coffee shop and restaurant known as Shoes Cup & Cork in downtown Leesburg has undergone an exciting transformation.

Billing itself as an “American Brasserie,” the restaurant at 17 North King Street has expanded and updated its menus, added a cocktail menu and full bar, and given the eclectic space a refresh as well.

“Indulge in comforting American classics thoughtfully paired with our well-crafted beverage program composed of classics to compliment any taste,” the updated website reads.

“Whether you’re savoring a morning coffee, enjoying a quick mid-day bite, lingering over a glass of wine during lunch, or gathering with friends for Golden Hour in the Garden or a decadent dinner in the Poker Room, we welcome you to relax, unwind, and stay awhile.”

The restaurant was closed for roughly a month while the updates happened and the staff was trained on the new menu.

Dishes include a classic Shrimp & Grits with andouille and smoked bacon, blistered tomatoes and parmasean grits; a Chicken Paillard served with lemon butter, capers, red-skinned mashed potatoes, and a seasonal vegetable; and on the Snacks menu, a Charred Onion Dip with sweet potato chips.
