A longtime Ashburn business that closed during the pandemic is being reborn — with a new location in Leesburg and a new addition to the family.
We’re talking about The Little Gym, a gymnastics studio and activity space for kids. Residents in the Ashburn Farm community may remember when The Little Gym there closed in 2021 after more than 20 years in business.
Now, the longtime owners — Chad and Tiffany Mussmon — have told The Burn that they are bringing The Little Gym back in early 2025.
The new location is in the Village at Leesburg shopping center off Route 7. They are going into the roughly 9,000 s.f. space that used to be Altar’d State, a women’s apparel shop. That store closed in 2021 as well.
The new Little Gym will share that large space with Loudoun’s first Snapology location, a child enrichment center.
“Snapology’s will have two separate classrooms in the space and engage “children through STEAM activities such as coding, robotics and animation as well as 17 creative play stations involving LEGO bricks, Minecraft, virtual reality and more,” an announcement read.
It’s the first co-space featuring The Little Gym and Snapology on the east coast, according to the Mussmons.
The two centers will target children ages four months through middle school.
Right now, they are aiming on opening in January or February and will begin selling membership packages as soon as this November.
