Community Church in Ashburn presents At the Movies

On Sunday, September 29th, Community Church in Ashburn will transform its space into a family-friendly theater as it kicks off its annual At the Movies series. Open to all DMV residents, this unique experience offers an age-appropriate film viewing for every member of the family.

Attendees will enjoy a complimentary soda and popcorn while watching a faith-centered film, followed by an uplifting message from Dr. Charlie Whitlow, the Lead Pastor of Community Church.

The event blends entertainment with meaningful storytelling in a way that resonates with viewers of all ages.

Rumors are swirling that a few familiar faces may make an appearance in the lobby, adding a fun, interactive element to the event.

Children will also have the chance to meet beloved characters in person and take part in photo opportunities that capture the excitement of the day.

The series offers separate film screenings for elementary-aged children, middle schoolers, and adults, with each film carefully selected to connect with its specific audience and deliver an inspiring message.

The At the Movies series will be held on Sunday, September 29, with additional dates on October 6, 13, and 20. Showtimes are at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

With a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a focus on community connection, Community Church — located at 19790 Ashburn Road — continues to offer engaging and relevant events for families across the DMV.
