The sign has gone up at the new Hallmark Gold Crown store coming to Leesburg and now we have the store’s tentative opening date.
Hallmark has taken over the former Books-A-Million space in the Leesburg Plaza.
That’s the shopping center on East Market Street anchored by a Giant grocery store and with neighboring retailers such as Party City, Planet Fitness, and Spanky’s Shenanigans.
When The Burn passed by today, the team from the new store was inside and starting to set up.
Some of the fixtures and shelving have started to arrive, along with some merchandise as well. More is expected soon.
One of the managers told us if all goes smoothly, they intend to open the store the weekend of October 18.
