White’s Ferry Manor in Loudoun building a brewery

A popular wedding venue in Loudoun County is getting ready to add an onsite brewery to its offerings. That’s the word from the folks at White’s Ferry Manor north of Leesburg.

The venue’s website has a new page for their upcoming brewery, but details are still scarce. It’s just listed as “coming soon.”

Some preliminary paperwork for the brewery has started to move through the county’s permitting system.

We understand a new brewery building either has been built or is being built on the property, which sits right along the banks of the Potomac River.

We’ve also learned that area brewer Mitch Pilchuk has been involved in the development of the White’s Ferry Manor brewery.

Pilchuk was previously head brewer at the former Craft of Brewing in Ashburn and at the former Dragon Hops Brewing in Purcellville.

We reached out to the management at White’s Ferry Manor and they confirmed no opening date for the brewery has been set yet and added that their menus are still being finalized. They hope to be ready to share more information soon.
