The Marco’s Pizza chain has announced that it has signed a new franchisee in Northern Virginia who will be bringing at least three more locations for the popular pizza restaurant.
The named communities so far are in Centreville, as well as Bristow and Haymarket. Additional Northern Virginia cities may be added to the deal.
So far, no leases have been signed yet and an active commercial real estate search for locations is underway.
Marco’s operates in the same space as Domino’s and Papa John’s — focusing primarily on carry out and delivery — although some locations do have dining rooms as well.
Founded in Ohio in 1978, Marco’s Pizza now has more than 1,200 stores in 35 states as well as locations in Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, and Mexico.
Here in Northern Virginia proper, there are six Marco’s locations according to the company’s website. These include stores in Ashburn, Sterling, Herndon, Fairfax, and Manassas.
