The new Moda Cafe & Bakery has opened in the Route 50 corridor of Chantilly — and it’s bought a luxury vibe to an otherwise nondescript strip mall.
The exact spot is 14513 Lee Jackson Memorial Highway. The Burn first reported on it prior to opening back in June.
Now, the restaurant is officially in business and getting good reviews for its brunch, lunch, and dinner menus of Turkish-focused cuisine as well as its pastries.
“Moda Cafe was born out of a passion to bring the vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean together with the best culinary delights from around the world,” the Moda website reads.
Dishes include Guvec Breakfast featuring beef sausage, scrambled eggs with grilled tomatoes, sauteed potatoes with onions, and halloumi cheese on toast.
They have their Adana Kabab — spicy grilled lamb kebabs from Adana, Turkey that are prepared with finely chopped meat, seasoned with traditional spices, hand-kneaded and skewered and served with bulgur pilaf, grilled tomatoes, grilled peppers, and sumac onions.
Since they are also a bakery, Moda also has all types of baklava, cakes, and other pastries. You can see the full cafe and bakery menu here.
