Paperwork filed with the county shows the discount grocer is considering building a store at the nascent Evergreen Commerce Center, a small development going up at the <strong>juncture of Evergreen Mills Road and Loudoun County Parkway<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The new store would sit on the V-shaped piece of land where the two roads meet, to the south of the existing <strong>Sheetz gas station<\/strong> and <strong>CubeSmart self storage<\/strong> facility.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7934\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7934\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7934\" src=\"http:\/\/theburn.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Screen-Shot-2018-11-09-at-3.15.40-PM-1024x854.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"501\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7934\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Image from Google Maps showing the V-shaped parcel of land along 606\/LoCo Parkway. This location technically has a Sterling address, but would primarily serve communities in and around Arcola, South Riding and Brambleton.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Burn reached out to ALDI\u2019s HQ for more details, but they\u2019re staying mum. <strong>\u201cAt this time, we cannot confirm any details about ALDI potentially opening a new store in Sterling, Virginia,\u201d<\/strong> said ALDI Frederick Division Vice President Jeff Baehr in a statement. <strong>\u201cHowever, as part of our aggressive national expansion plan, ALDI is currently exploring expansion opportunities in multiple markets from coast to coast. We will keep you posted if we have news to share about new ALDI stores opening in Loudoun County, Virginia.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7935\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7935\" style=\"width: 980px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7935 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/theburn.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Screen-Shot-2018-11-14-at-9.45.30-AM-1024x655.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"980\" height=\"627\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7935\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Image here and at top: ALDI<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aldi.us\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ALDI<\/a> already has a location on Route 7 in Sterling and another location in the Broadlands in Ashburn. <strong>The Burn has also reported<\/strong> that ALDI is looking at a spot in <strong>Leesburg<\/strong> near the Lowe\u2019s Home Improvement store. <a href=\"http:\/\/theburn.com\/2018\/09\/05\/new-aldi-store-reportedly-coming-leesburg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">See that report here.<\/a> We should stress \u2014 deals like this aren\u2019t always finalized and may not come to fruition.
