A quick update — we understand that Il Cappero, the new Italian restaurant at the Lansdowne Town Center, has re-opened for business.
As The Burn recently reported, the eagerly anticipated “ristorante” closed temporarily while they hired new staff and provided additional training to their team.
Il Cappero is near the main entrance to the center in the former Not Your Average Joe’s space.
They need to put a large “Open for Business” sign out front!
Agree. Very poor roll out for this restaurant, both now and even when it originally opened in early July. They should have at least had a banner out front, and perhaps some flyers distributed in the area. Furthermore, from the street you would barely even know it’s a restaurant.
Right. And they STILL do not have a website. Who has a restaurant without a website? No advertising for a grand opening they surely need. I just don’t get it.
Just tried to call to make a reservation as they are still not up on open table and no one answers the phone. Just rings. No voice mail or messaging capabilities. What is going on here!
