Lacrosse Unlimited opening first Loudoun location

Much of Loudoun County seems to be lacrosse crazy. The sport is popular in both youth leagues and in local high schools. Now, folks in the area will have a new option when it comes to getting their lacrosse gear.

Lacrosse Unlimited, a national chain of lacrosse stores, has signed a lease for its first Loudoun location. It will be taking a 1,200 s.f. spot in the Lansdowne Town Center.

That spot is a former Subway restaurant, situated in between a nail salon and a dentist office, and across the street from the Panera restaurant.

Lacrosse Unlimited was founded on Long Island back in 1990 and has now grown to include stores in at least a dozen states. There are several here in the DC market, the closest one being in Vienna.

The store carries everything from sticks and protective gear to footwear, apparel, and lacrosse accessories. Many families in Loudoun have been making the trek to the Vienna store on the regular, so this new store will be a welcome addition to the retail scene.
