A new health club and fitness center has quietly appeared on the scene in Loudoun County — taking over an existing facility and bringing a new brand to the area.
Method Health Club is the new name of the gym that was formerly known as Oak Health Club.
That’s located on the north side of Route 7 in Ashburn, in the Riverside Commons retail center off of Riverside Parkway.
Longtime readers may recall that Oak Health Club opened back in the spring of 2021. It was located in a brand new building in the just built center.
At the time, it was anticipated that the Ashburn location could be the first in a chain of Oak fitness centers.
Now, flash forward three years and the previous ownership, which was affiliated with the AARP brand, has a sold the facility to the Method Gym brand.
According to its website, Method has six locations. Four of them are called Method Gym with three locations in Maryland, plus one in Virginia.
There is also the Method Studio concept, which has one Maryland location. And now, the Ashburn location is part of a new branch called Method Health Club.
The CEO of the Method family of brands is an Ashburn resident, so his latest location is right in his backyard.
