A new restaurant specializing in hibachi dishes is coming to Ashburn Road in the Old Ashburn community. Its name is Yum Yum Hibachi, according to its nascent website.
The space that will become Yum Yum Hibachi appears to be under construction currently at 20706 Weller’s Corner Square.
Weller’s Square is a new residential project going up at the corner of Ashburn Road and Hay Road. Besides the new homes, there is a small retail component on the corner.
A old, white house there – long ago the home to the historic Weller’s Tile & Mosaics in Ashburn — has been refurbished and is now the home to A New View, a home decor shop.
A second structure is going up adjacent to A New View, which will apparently be the location of Yum Yum Hibachi.
The Yum Yum website only mentions carry-out and delivery and the space appears small, so it’s not clear if there will be a dine-in option. We have messages in to the restaurant owners and the developer for more information, so stay tuned.
