Jimmy Potters sets opening date in Ashburn

The new pottery studio is coming to the Broadlands Village Center.

The new Jimmy Potters Ceramics & Art Studio has set the opening date for its new location in the Broadlands. The pottery studio will officially open its doors on January 10.

The sign was recently installed over its entrance. And here’s a sneak peek of what’s going on behind the painted over windows at its location in the Broadlands Village Center.

Jimmys has taken over the former Painting with a Twist space in the plaza at the intersection of Claiborne Parkway and Broadlands Boulevard in Ashburn.

The Burn first broke the news of the Jimmy Potters plans back in October. (See our story here.)

Jimmy Potters lets guests use a pottery wheel to create their own ceramics and pottery. The studio offer date night experiences, adult classes, after-school programs, birthday parties and summer camps.

The first Jimmy Potters studio opened in Fairfax Virginia in 2006.

This thrills me to no end! I have participated in regular lessons at Jimmy’s for several years. Jimmy and his staff are patient with kids and learners. I look forward to seeing the new shop in this convenient location and continuing my wheel throwing journey.
