Axes and O’s, the new axe throwing entertainment venue in Sterling, finally has an opening date. They are now taking reservations starting on Father’s Day — June 21.
Axe throwing is just want it sounds like. Groups of family members, friends or co-workers gather and throw a small hand axe at a wooden target. Think of it as sort of like throwing darts at a dart board — only with an axe.
Besides the axe throwing fun, Axes & O’s — which is located on Ridgetop Drive — also has a full food menu and serves beer and wine. (If you’re worried about combining axes and booze, don’t worry. They have strict limits and policies in place. Axes and O’s had planned on opening earlier this year, but the coronavirus pandemic postponed their launch date.
