A new wing restaurant focusing on delivery only is coming to Loudoun County, via the folks at Delirium Cafe in downtown Leesburg. It’s called DC Wings and it’s the latest ghost kitchen concept to hit the area.
DC Wings will sell chicken wings by the pound. The menu includes wings tossed in sauces like Buffalo and Harissa BBQ, or “dry spiced” with rubs like Nashville Hot or Cali Ranch. DC Wings also offers burgers, fries, cheese curds and a selection of beers. The full menu is below.
DC Wings will operate out of the kitchen at Delirium Cafe, a popular downtown Belgian-themed bar and restaurant from restauranteur Curtis Allred. Like many restaurants around Loudoun County, the rise of delivery services such as DoorDash has allowed restaurants to create new concepts and menus with ghost kitchens — usually meaning for delivery only — thereby increasing their potential revenue. This has proven critical for many restaurants during the ongoing pandemic.
DC Wings is scheduled to launch this coming Thursday, February 25, on the DoorDash and Grubhub delivery apps.
