If you own or operate a business in Ashburn, or you have a favorite Ashburn teacher, hair stylist or bartender, or you’re a loyal customer of an Ashburn store — here’s your chance to tell the world. Voting has officially opened in this year’s “Best of Ashburn” contest.
Sponsored by everyone’s favorite local publication — Ashburn Magazine — you can nominate and vote for your favorites in over 100 different categories. There are several new categories this year — including Best Family Activity Center, Best IT Support Company and Best Power Washing Company.
You can vote once per category per day, so as they say in Chicago — vote early and vote often! Voting ends Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 11:59 p.m. Winners will be announced in the May/June issue of Ashburn Magazine.
After voting, be sure to share your vote with your friends and neighbors and encourage them to support their favorite local businesses too.
Here are the “Best of Ashburn” 2022 winners. The contest received more than 72,000 total votes from about 13,000 voters last year — numbers that have grown every year since the first “Best of Ashburn” contest in 2020.
Not only are winners recognized in Ashburn Magazine — distributed to 15,000 Ashburn households —but they also have the opportunity to receive banners and plaques to celebrate their honor.
