Rai’s Pizza starts serving up pies in Ashburn

Ashburn fans of Rai’s Pizza have a new place to get their favorite pies. The second Rai’s location has officially opened its doors at the Ashburn Ice House.

As The Burn first reported last June, Rai’s has moved into the space vacated by Pomodoro Pizza, Pasta & More, which had been a longtime tenant inside the ice skating facility.

The Rai’s team has given the place a complete overhaul — with new booths and tables, new decor, new menu boards — the works. The sign on the outside is in place as well — featuring the smiling face of Rai, the’s restaurant’s namesake who is also the owner’s daughter.

The menu at Rai’s includes 10-inch, 14-inch and 18-inch pies that can be topped with your favorite toppings or you can go with one of the chef-designed pizzas Rai’s offers.

There are also subs, salads, appetizers, desserts and more. You can see the full menu below.

The first Rai’s Pizza quickly created a lot of buzz when it opened in Sterling back in 2020. The owners of Rai’s also own several other establishments in the area, including the recently opened Rai’s Pour House.

No deep dish? That was an option that was fairly unique to Pomodoro, so I’m dissapointed Rai’s doesn’t have it.
