X-Golf selects site for first Loudoun County location

Golfers in the greater Ashburn area have cause to celebrate with news that a fast-growing entertainment venue called X-Golf has signed a lease for its first Loudoun County location. X-Golf specializes in golf simulators.

X-Golf will be coming to the Broadlands Village Center, found at the intersection of Broadlands Boulevard and Claiborne Parkway in Ashburn.

That’s the same center with the LA Fitness, the Aldi grocery store, Parallel Wine & Whiskey Bar, and Bonefish Grill.

X-Golf will be taking a roughly 7,000 s.f. space between Aldi and Los Toltecos. As part of the changes coming, the JTA Taekwondo Academy will move from its current location to a larger spot a few doors down.

The golf-themed brand got its start in Michigan in 2016 and now has nearly 100 locations open or in the works across the country. There’s one so far in Virginia — in the Richmond area.

Billing itself as “the home of indoor golf,” X-Golf’s website says it’s “the most innovative and accurate golf simulator experience in the world.”

The facility can be used for both fun and skills building. There will be leagues and tournaments that golfers can participate in, or friends can gather for a night of playing famous “simulated” courses from around the world.

There will also be lessons available with PGA professionals as well as club fittings done onsite. Plus, there will be a bar and food service as well.

The deal was just signed — so no word yet on when X-Golf will open in Ashburn. Stay tuned.
