Things are starting to get real in South Riding. The sign for the new Duck Donuts has been installed over the doorway of the future sweet shop.
The popular donut shop brand is opening its first Loudoun County location in the South Riding Town Center. That’s at Tall Cedars Parkway and South Riding Boulevard.
We reached out to Duck HQ for an update on the store and when they hope to have it open, but they said a firm opening date hasn’t been set yet.
Construction is still underway in the space and there are too many variables that could impact the speed at which it wraps up. More information should be available in the coming weeks as the work progresses.
In another sign of progress, the South Riding location has been added to the Duck Donuts website, but right now it only says “coming soon.”
The menu at Duck Donuts has almost limitless options. Customers select a warm, cake-style donuts and then chose various toppings to customize them.
There are also breakfast sandwiches, ice cream novelties and a coffee drinks on the menu. You can check out the full Duck Donuts line-up here.
