A small fast-casual Tex Mex restaurant brand is getting ready to open its first Loudoun County location. It’s called El Fresco Tex-Mex Grill and it’s coming to Sterling to a small retail center just north of Route 7.
El Fresco will be opening at 46580 South Cottage Road. That’s just behind the Kohl’s department store and across Potomac View Road from the Northern Virginia Community College campus.
The NoVa-based brand has two locations currently — one in Centreville and one in Chantilly. They appear to be growing at a quick pace — with the upcoming Sterling location and also one in the works for Alexandria.
The menu at El Fresco is extensive with all the usual suspects including burritos, tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, Mexican pizzas, salads, plus starters like chicken flautas, jalapeño poppers, Mexican street corn, and more.
They also offer breakfast wraps and several egg dishes all day — sure to be a hit with students heading to class at NVCC. You can see the full El Fresco menu here.
A firm opening date hasn’t been set yet, but the team at El Fresco told The Burn that they are working towards a June opening if all stays on track.
