A new Indian restaurant is in the works for Lovettsville. It’s called Train to Mumbai Farm Indian Kitchen.
The restaurant will be one of the initial tenants in the new Lovettsville Town Commons, a new retail center opening in the picturesque Loudoun County town.
“In our kitchen, you will find traditional Indian cooking techniques along with unexpected ingredient combinations,” the Train to Mumbai website reads. “It is important for us to preserve time-honored cooking techniques while tantalizing taste buds of our guests.”
The 1,100 s.f. restaurant is expected to focus primarily on carry out and delivery, although they are planning a small dining room area.
The menu and target opening date for the new restaurant haven’t been released yet — the menu being listed as a “work in progress,” while the restaurant itself is “coming soon.”
The Lovettsville Town Commons will also be home to the new Lovettsville Cooperative Market, a full-service grocery store expected to open in July.
Plus, there will be the El Pitayo Mexican restaurant in the center as well as a pharmacy and a physical therapy center.
