Another new Nashville-style hot chicken sandwich restaurant is headed to Northern Virginia — and this one has some legs. It’s growing rapidly around the country.
It’s called Dave’s Hot Chicken and it’s “coming soon” to a spot just off Route 7/Leesburg Pike in Tysons. The exact address will be 8397 Leesburg Pike, Unit No. 35.
The Dave’s brand got its start in 2017 in East Hollywood, California. Buzz quickly grew over its juicy, tender chicken and the various spice levels available for customers to choose from.
Those spice levels range from No Spice (which actually is still a flavor) up to “The Reaper.” The brand soon had a cult following and it’s been expanding ever since.
Currently, there are more than 150 locations open or in the works, according to the Dave’s website. Those locations stretch across the country and even overseas.
The location in Tysons will be the first one in Virginia. No word yet on expansion plans here, but more locations are likely.
