New Wingstops confirmed for Herndon and Chantilly

An update on a story we brought you back in June. That’s when The Burn reported that the chicken wing restaurant brand Wingstop was planning a new location in Herndon.

At the time, we had it on good authority that the restaurant was coming, but we were waiting on official confirmation. Now that has come via a big “coming soon” banner in the window.

Wingstop is going into a spot in the Herndon Centre off Elden Street. It’s taking a 1,600 s.f. spot near the end of the center, next door to the Nothing Bundt Cakes shop.

The Burn has also learned that a Wingstop is in the works for Chantilly, just off of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway in the Sully Plaza shopping center.

Wingstop is taking the space that used to be the location of Chopathi India Kitchen. That’s in between Jay’s Hair Envy and the Taste of Hong Kong restaurant.

There’s also a new Wingstop headed to Annandale, so the sudden rush of new locations indicates that that brand is actively expanding in Northern Virginia.

There’s currently one Wingstop location in Sterling that has been there for years, but no word yet on any additional locations in Loudoun County.
