Loudoun’s latest Popeyes restaurant is open for business

As Northern Virginia’s leading source for fried chicken news, we knew our readers would want to know about the area’s latest Popeyes restaurant opening its doors.

The new outlet for the Louisiana-inspired bone-in chicken, chicken tenders, and chicken sandwiches is located in Ashburn’s Commonwealth Center development going up at the intersection of Loudoun County Parkway and Russell Branch Parkway.

That’s kitty-corner from One Loudoun, next to the CVS drugstore and the Silver Diner restaurant.

The new restaurant is one of the first in the area to feature a fresh look for the brand, featuring heavy uses of colors the company has dubbed “Popeyes orange” and “NOLA teal.”

The restaurant also features a double lane drive-thru with two ordering stations.

There is still at least one more new Popeyes under construction in Loudoun County scheduled to open this year.

It can be found in the Loudoun Crossroads center off Highway 50 at Pleasant Valley Road. Its neighbors will include the new Silver Diner restaurant being built there as well as a reported Wawa convenience store.
