New ghost kitchen cookie shop expanding into Loudoun

(UPDATE 9-30-23: We received word from MOLTN management that — due to a late-arriving oven — the launch of MOLTN Cookies in Ashburn will be delayed until November 1.)

Folks in Loudoun are soon going to have another option when it comes to getting their sweet tooth on. A growing fresh-baked cookie brand called MOLTN Cookies is opening its first shop in Ashburn.

MOLTN Cookies currently has two other locations — one in DC and one in Arlington. They use a ghost kitchen model meaning they team up with an existing restaurant and bake, serve, and deliver their cookies from the restaurant’s kitchen.

In Ashburn, MOLTN will be operating out of the EATaliano Pizza Pasta & More location in the Broadlands Village Center. That’s at Claiborne Parkway and Broadlands Boulevard.

The cookies at MOLTN are all baked to order. Customers can order via the brand’s website and then pick the cookies up at EATaliano. Or they can order the cookies for delivery via apps like DoorDash and Uber Eats.

The menu at MOLTN Coookies includes traditional cookies such as Chocolate Chip, M&M, and Oatmeal Raisin. There are also premium cookies that include Triple Chocolate, Red Velvet, and Crystal Sugar. You can see the whole line-up here.

They will also have ice cream available from South Mountain Creamery.

Sunday, October 1 will mark the unofficial “Cookie Day” in Ashburn. That’s when MOLTN Cookies is opening at Eataliano. The first 50 visitors will be treated to a choice of free Triple Chocolate or seasonal Pumpkin White Chocolate Pecan cookies from 12 noon to 2 p.m.

We’re told other local communities under consideration for a MOLTN ghost kitchen cookie shop include Purcellville and Chantilly.
