Timber frame up at new Lark Brewing Co. in Loudoun

(Updated — This story has been updated to reflect the new name of the brewery that was recently announced.)

Right on schedule, there is progress to report on the construction of the Lark Brewing Co. in the Aldie area. The timber framing of the brewery and tasting room is well underway.

The new facility is being built at 24205 James Monroe Highway (Highway 15).

The Burn first told you about Lark back in June when it was going by the temporary name Carolina Road brewery. That name came from a small side road near the property called Old Carolina Road.

The “farm brewery” will feature a 6,800 s.f. venue that includes the beer brewing area, as well as a tasting room with a food menu, and a gift shop.

Plans call for both inside and outside seating and the brewery will likely be dog-friendly.

The Burn was originally told that the framing at the Lark Brewing facility would go up late summer — so they are right on schedule. If things continue to stay on track, the proprietors are aiming for an early 2024 opening.
