A new coffee and tea shop is just about ready to open in downtown Leesburg and now, The Burn has our first look inside. It’s called Shake & Bops Botanical Cafe.
Shake & Bops is coming to a small building at 19 Wirt Street. The cafe has taken over the front of the building, while there are offices at the back and upstairs.
Besides a menu filled with espresso, coffee, and tea drinks — Shake & Bops has another interesting feature for sale in the shop — houseplants.
The owner — Alexandra Patton — is passionate about plants. The cozy shop is filled with potted plants — all of which are for sale.
There will also be non-caffeine beverages like lemonades and a kids corner to entertain little ones while the grownups enjoy an espresso.
The official opening date isn’t set yet, but Patton says it should be in the next couple of weeks. And if you’re wondering about the name Shake & Bops — those are the nicknames of her two daughters.
