The new Tatte Bakery & Café coming to the Reston Town Center has announced its official opening date.
The new shop will start welcoming guests on Wednesday, November 29 — just in time for the holiday shopping season.
Tatte is opening in a corner spot next to the Fountain Square plaza and across the street from the ice skating rink.
Crews are putting the finishing touches on the space — which is decked out in white tiles with black accents, giving it a traditional French bistro vibe. A sign on the door says staff training is underway as well.
The Tatte brand got its start in Boston more than 15 years ago and it now has two dozen locations in Massachusetts.
Meanwhile, there are 10 Tatte Bakery & Cafés in the metro DC area. The Reston store will be No. 11.
Calling it a bakery and café may make Tatte sound like a simple coffeeshop, but it’s far from it.
The shop will offer an extensive menu of breakfast items, tartines, quiches, soups, shakshukas, salads, sandwiches, and other dishes.
Everything from a Smoked Salmon, Avocado & Egg Sandwich to a Short Rib, Broccolini, Lentil & Couscous Bowl, from a Leek, Potato & Spinach Quiche to a Proscuitto & Fig Panini. You can check out Tatte’s “All Day” menu below.
