Soccer Post soccer store in the works for Leesburg

Soccer is king in Loudoun County and now families that participate in the sport should soon have a new store dedicated to all their soccer shopping needs.

An outlet of the Soccer Post chain is in the works for Leesburg. Soccer Post has reportedly taken two adjacent units totaling 3,100 s.f. in the Shenandoah Square shopping center.

That’s next to the big Floor & Decor store and across the parking lot from the Leesburg Public House restaurant.

According to the Soccer Post website: “Soccer Post is the largest chain of soccer specialty stores in the US. Each family owned and locally-operated Soccer Post location sells high quality balls, jerseys, cleats, team uniforms, and all of your other soccer needs. Our extensive inventory includes brands such as Nike, Adidas, Puma, Kwik Goal, Mueller, and many more.”

Earlier this year, Loudoun Soccer — the largest youth soccer program in the area — announced a partnership with the new Soccer Post store to be the main retailer of Loudoun Soccer’s uniforms.

No word on when Soccer Post in Leesburg will open. When we passed by recently, it didn’t appear as if construction on the space had started yet. We’ll update you when we get more information.
