Bubblebee Ramen reportedly headed to Loudoun County

It looks like a new ramen shop of some sort is in the works for an Ashburn shopping center — taking the spot of a bubble tea and fried chicken restaurant that closed abruptly.

It was just a few weeks ago that The Burn reported on the sudden closing of Tsaocaa, an Asian-themed eatery in the Ashburn Farm Market Center. It opened in early 2023 and was closed by December.

The mystery was deepened by a sign on the door that indicated a new business was already in the works for the spot.

And now we know the apparent name of that new business. According to the landlord, it’s Bubblebee Ramen.

No other details to report at this point. A search for Bubblebee Ramen turns up no other locations.

Oddly, we do find a bubble tea shop in Fredericksburg, Virginia called just plain Bubblebee, but no mention of ramen, so it’s unclear if there is any connection between the two entities.

We’ll keep digging and let you know what we find out. Stay tuned.
