As The Burn reported last week, the new Rubino’s Sports Pub & Grill has opened and with it comes a new option for casual dining in the Ashburn area.
The restaurant — located in the shopping center often called Southern Walk Plaza — was carved out of the large Rubino’s Pizzeria restaurant there. A wall down the middle now divides the pizza shop from a hip new sports bar.
Reports from multiple guests say the place has been absolutely packed on recent weekend evenings.
The Burn got a chance to stop by this week and get our first look at the new menu. It’s a different line-up of dishes from the pizza place next door, although there are some similarities.
Items unique to the sports bar include Elote Street Corn Dip, Old Bay Steamed Spiced Shrimp, the Broadlands Bistro Salad, as well as burgers, chicken sandwiches, fish & chips, and more.
There is also a full bar menu of beers, wines, and signature cocktails, including a Ketel One espresso martini on tap. You can see the full Rubino’s Sports Pub & Grill menu below.
