Cubasi Bistro closing soon ahead of move to Ashburn

Cubasi Bistro, the popular Cuban cuisine restaurant in Sterling, has announced that it will close its current location ahead of its planned move to a new spot in Ashburn.

The last day at the current spot in the Dulles 28 Centre off Pacific Boulevard will be March 31.

However, the new Ashburn location isn’t ready yet, so Cubasi will focus on catering and delivery orders from a temporary commercial kitchen for a few months until the new restaurant is ready.

The Burn first broke the news about Cubasi’s move back in December. The restaurant is taking a vacant spot in the Moorefield Village retail center. That’s near the intersection of Loudoun County Parkway and Ryan Road.

Cubasi originally opened on 2019. It became popular among fans of Cuban food for its authentic roast pork, ropa vieja, tostones, and other dishes.

No timeline yet on when the future Cubasi Bistro location might open, but work is underway at the new space.
