We have a little update today for readers who are eager for the new Duck Donuts location in Ashburn to open. We spoke with an owner and he says he’s hoping to be open within the next two months.
The Burn first broke the news that Duck Donuts was coming to the Broadlands Village Center last June. That’s at Claiborne Parkway and Broadlands Boulevard.
Now, we have learned that construction is already underway in the 1,200 s.f. space and they are planning to be ready to open by “late March or early April” if all goes according to plan.
This will be the second Duck Donuts location in Loudoun County. The first one opened last fall in South Riding.
Duck Donuts is a North Carolina-based donut chain that has a loyal following. The brand specializes in warm donuts which are topped with a variety of icings and toppings per the customer’s request.
