The former Bourbon Bayou Kitchen in Ashburn has re-opened its doors as a new restaurant called Ambiance. The cuisine at the restaurant has shifted to Mediterranean dishes.
The Burn first told you about the impending change back in February when the Louisiana-themed Bourbon Bayou closed suddenly. The owners had decided to go in a different direction with the restaurant.
Now, Ambiance can best be described as a restaurant that doubles as an event space. By that, we mean that Ambiance will be hosting live comedy shows and live music events.
It will also function as a banquet venue from time to time.
The new menu at Ambiance (see below) features dishes such as Smoked Salmon Toast, an Arugula and Beet Salad, a Beef Shawarma sandwich, a Beef Skewer Platter, and a Lamb Chop Platter. The restaurant also has a full bar.
Ambiance is located in the Ashbrook Marketplace shopping center on Ashburn’s north side, near the intersection of Russell Branch Parkway and Ashburn Village Boulevard.
A soft opening has gotten underway at Ambiance as they ramp up. They have also started scheduling upcoming live shows.
