It looks like Ashburn is getting invaded by a gang — the Woof Gang to be exact. We’ve learned that Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming is planning to open a second local location.
As you may have gathered, Woof Gang is a shop that specializes in baked dog treats as well as dog grooming.
The first store opened in 2017 in the Shops at Moorefield Village, near the intersection of Loudoun County Parkway and Ryan Road.
Now, another Woof Gang location is in the works for the Belmont Chase shopping plaza. That’s where Whole Foods and the Cooper’s Hawk restaurant are located off Claiborne Parkway.
Woof Gang is taking a vacant 1,500 s.f. spot next door to the Chipotle.
The Florida-based chain has more than 200 locations open or in the works around the country. There are several here in Northern Virginia, besides the existing Ashburn location.
No word yet on when the owners hope to open the new Belmont store, but you can tell your pups that they’ve got something sweet coming.
