Mancha Mexican restaurant opens its doors in Leesburg

A new Mexican restaurant is open for business in Leesburg. After at least a year and a half in the works, Mancha Cocina Mexicana has started welcoming customers. And The Burn has your first look inside.

The new restaurant is located in the Fort Evans Plaza development off Fort Evans Road NE. That’s the same retail center with the Home Depot and the Hobby Lobby stores.

The Burn first got wind that a Mexican restaurant was in the works for the center back in the fall of 2022, and construction started in 2023.

Mancha Cocina Mexicana — which means Mancha Mexican Kitchen — started a soft opening earlier this week — meaning they are slow rolling the opening festivities in order to give their team a chance to make sure everything is operating smoothly.

They are especially conscious of this with Cinco de Mayo just two days a way — always one of the biggest days of the year for Mexican restaurants.

We also got our first look at the restaurant’s menu. It has appetizers such as the traditional chips with salsa, guacamole, queso, and more. There are Fried Taquitos and Papas Bravas as well.

They have soups, salads, tacos, quesadillas, as well. On the larger entrée menu, there are dishes such as Carne Asada, Camarones Chipotle, Mango Salmon, and Enchilada Suizas. You can see the full Mancha menu below.
