The exterior signs have been installed at the upcoming Cha Street Food location in Sterling. And the owners tell us opening day is fast approaching.
Cha Street Food is a new Pakistani restaurant coming to the Dulles Eastern Plaza retail center.
That’s the center near the intersection of Nokes Boulevard and Atlantic Boulevard that is home to a Best Buy, a World Market, a Chili’s Grill & Bar, and our area’s first Raising Cane’s restaurant.
The Burn first reported on Cha coming to the center last September. Since then, construction has been underway.
Cha is moving into a 4,200 s.f. space that used to be the home of Udupi Bhavan, a vegetarian Indian restaurant that closed last summer.
We’re told Cha is in the final stretch and an announcement about an opening date could come any time now — so stayed tuned.
The Sterling location will be the second one for the brand. They also have a Cha Street Food over in the Tysons Corner area.
(Correction: In a previous version of this story, The Burn incorrectly identified the cuisine at Cha Street Food. The restaurant focuses on Pakistani cuisine.)
