It’s official. The Silver Diner — a popular restaurant brand with locations around the greater DC area — will be opening its first Loudoun County location at the Commonwealth Center, at the intersection of Loudoun County Parkway and Russell Branch Parkway.
It will sit kitty-corner from the Trader Joe’s store and One Loudoun, next to the new CVS drugstore that recently opened.
Regular readers of The Burn knew this deal was in the works. We first reported it last August.
Since then, there were lots of signs it was happening, but we were waiting for the lease to be signed and everything to be official. That confirmation came in from a Silver Diner spokesperson today.
Silver Diner is a Rockville Md. based chain with 14 locations in Virginia and Maryland and one in New Jersey. The nearest one to Ashburn is in Reston. If you haven’t been, you can check out their current menu here.
No word yet on a target opening for the Ashburn location or when construction might start on the site.
