Rubino’s Pizzeria opening new location Friday

The restaurant is moving from its previous location just a block or so away.

Rubino’s Pizzeria is pushing ahead with the opening of its new location in the Ashbrook Marketplace shopping center. The doors will open on Friday, April 10. It’s one of the few restaurant openings happening at the moment, since most have hit the brakes during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Rubino’s is in a unique position. They are moving only a hundred yards or so from their current location in the Ashbrook Commons shopping center next door. So their customer base already knows them. They had also completed much of the construction on the new space prior to the onset of the pandemic.

Rubino’s closed their old location a week and a half ago in order to transfer over all the large kitchen equipment. When they open Friday, they will resume adhering to the restrictions currently in place on restaurants. The new dining room will remain closed while Rubino’s focuses on carry-out, curbside and delivery service.

Ashbrook Marketplace is located at the intersection of Ashburn Village Boulevard and Russell Branch Parkway on Ashburn’s north side.

Rubino’s Pizzeria has two other locations — one in the Broadlands neighborhood of Ashburn and one in Herndon.
