An Ashburn-based pet treat shop and grooming salon is expanding with a new pop-up location coming soon to One Loudoun.
Belly Rubs Biscuit Bar will be taking one of the shipping container units next to Uncle Julio’s Mexican restaurant.
The original Belly Rubs grooming salon is located in the Ashburn Farm Market Center — what locals often call Junction Plaza. That’s at the intersection of Claiborne Parkway and Ashburn Farm Parkway.
Belly Rubs has expanded to add sales of house made tidbits and treats as well as other canine accessories. They have a website for online sales as well.
Now, they are bringing their special dog treats to One Loudoun with the Belly Rubs Biscuit Bar.
The 170 s.f. space will feature a chewie bar with a selection of natural chews like bully sticks, chicken necks and buffalo tendons.
There will also be items from the Belly Rubs Ashburn bakery, Belly Rubs treats and even a small selection of dog toys.
The owners say if the pop-up does well, they may consider expanding to a permanent storefront in the center.
No firm opening date yet, but they are hoping for a date in mid to late May.
What’s happening to Fantasticks? They currently occupy both pop ups, and I’d hate to see them go as they’re really good.
