It looks like Lansdowne area residents will soon have a new spot to get their dogs groomed after a day playing at the nearby dog park. A vacant space in the Lansdowne Town Center is earmarked for a company called Scenthound.
The grooming salon should be coming to the roughly 1,500 s.f. space conveniently next door to the Lansdowne Animal Hospital. The spot used to be a dry cleaners before it moved a block or so away.
Scenthound is a national brand with more than 30 locations open or in the works across at least 15 states. According to the brand’s website, they have one location open over in Fairfax and another one is in the works for Reston.
They offer their Basic Hygiene package which includes a bath, ear cleaning, nail clipping and teeth brushing. They also have add-ons such as haircuts and brush and blow out.
No word on a timetable yet, but look for Loudoun’s first Scenthound location to open sometime in 2023.
