Valvoline looking at vacant pad in Leesburg center

New tenants continue to pop up at the Shops at Compass Creek development in Leesburg. The latest is a new Valvoline auto care shop that is looking at taking one of the pad spaces in the center.

A pad is developers call a specific piece of land where a building will eventually be built. In this case, the pad in question is next door to the new Popeyes restaurant.

It’s the latest of four pads in a row. Besides the Popeyes, the other pads are where the new Starbucks and Chipotle were built.

Earlier today, we reported on plans for a Wendys drive-thru restaurant at the center. If the lease deal gets done, it will be built on the corner in front of the At Home store. That’s on the other side of the Walmart from the potential Valvoline location.

We also recent reported that an AT&T store is in the works for the center, going into a spot next to the Mezeh Mediterranean Grill that is supposed to open sometime this fall.
