Loudoun’s latest Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids ready to open

Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids is getting ready to open its latest Loudoun location — this time in the Dulles/South Riding area off Loudoun County Parkway.

Sharkey’s is coming to a spot at 24305 Liberty Harvest Court. That’s part of a unique wedge shaped retail center at the intersection of LoCo Parkway and Arcola Mills Drive.

To help you geo-locate, other businesses there include an ALDI grocery store, an IHOP, a Wendy’s, and a Sheetz gas station and convenience store.

The official grand opening celebration starts on Friday, April 21 and runs all weekend.

Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids is a national chain of hair salons aimed at children. There are barber’s chairs that look like cars for the little ones, as well as TVs and video games. They also host birthday parties and other kids events.

The new Dulles location is veteran-owned by local resident Alex Rivera. There are also two other Loudoun County locations for Sharkey’s — one in Ashburn and one in Sterling.
