Based on the emails we get, lots of folks have been eagerly waiting for the new Big Buns Damn Good Burgers restaurant to open at One Loudoun. Now, we have the official date. Big Buns will officially debut on Monday, April 24.
As regular readers know, Big Buns has taken over a corner spot at One Loudoun in Ashburn, right by the Alamo Drafthouse movie theater. The spot was formerly the site of an Elevation Burger restaurant.
The space has been given a makeover, staff is being hired, and they should be ready to roll week after next.
According to the BB website, the Northern Virginia-based brand currently has nine locations open. Eight of them are in NoVa, while the ninth is located in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. It appears that the Ashburn location will be No. 10.
Very soon — area residents will be feasting on their burgers, chicken sandwiches, burger bowls, and various fries loaded with toppings.
The Burn is also looking forward to a “boozy shake” — a milkshake with a shot of liquor blended into it.
