Don’t blink or you’ll miss another new boutique fitness center coming into the area. The latest is Cyclebar and it’s headed to the Ashbrook Commons shopping center in Ashburn.
According to the Cyclebar website, the gym will be taking a roughly 2,000 s.f. space next door to the Ashburn Village Inn.
Cyclebar is focused on stationary bike rides with music and an instructor and a roomful of riders. In the past, we’ve heard this called “spinning” or a “spin class” but we don’t see the word “spin” anywhere on the Cyclebar website
The brand was founded in 2004 and there are now locations across the country as well as overseas in Australia, Japan, and Kuwait. Cyclebar bills itself as the largest cycling studio brand in the world.
There are a lot of fitness options in close proximity to the upcoming Cyclebar location. Across the parking lot, you’ll find a Rumble Boxing studio. And in the next shopping center over, there’s a Yoga Six, a Row House, and a Planet Fitness.
No word yet on an opening date for Cyclebar, but their membership pre sales are already underway.
