Bungalow Alehouse closes suddenly in Ashburn

A bit of surprising news on the local restaurant scene as the Bungalow Alehouse in Ashburn announces it had closed its doors permanently.

The bar and restaurant known for its pool tables and large outdoor patio was located in the Ashburn Crossroads restaurant park.

That’s the center often referred to as Pipeline Plaza at Ashburn Village Boulevard and Farmwell Road.

“It was a difficult decision, but necessary due to the economics of this situation,” said owner Keith Early in a post on social media.

“We have made many great memories and friends over the last 4 years and we have all been through a lot in these trying times.”

Also in the post, Early cryptically mentioned the possibility of a future restaurant concept — possibly Italian cuisine — but he told The Burn it’s just something he’s mulling over.

The Bungalow Alehouse in Ashburn originally opened back in May 2019. Per the company’s website, there are several sister Bungalow locations in the area — including the one in Sterling off Route 7 and another in Woodbridge.
